The vegetable mixture consisted of broccoli, zucchini, carrots, mushrooms, and other goodies and was well combined with the fluffy texture of the white basmati rice. 95), which was fragrant, light, and huge portion. We also ordered their Vegetable Biryani ($ 9. There was far less cream and butter, which was nice, and the consistency was definitely more chunky than creamy. 95), which is pretty much like Palak Paneer, instead that the flavor profile is less bitter due to the fact that it is a mixture of greens, not exclusive to spinach. 50 per piece, and when I saw the size of the pieces, I immediately thought, «Are you nuts?» Kindly, I passed, but I wonder how come nobody else mentioned this? I am only guessing that if you dine in, you are given complimentary naan. The waiter told me that it would cost an extra $ 1. At least, for to go orders, which I thought was odd. I was only surprised that they do not give you naan with your meal.

Having being accustomed to more Northern style Indian cooking, I’d say that Grill of India’s cuisine errs more on the Southern style and Husband even said, «a bit of Pakistani influence.» We didn’t dine in, but the food portions were pretty generous during dinner hours. Pretty good addition to the Flint Township area! Keep in mind that I haven’t been to many Indian joints around the Flint area, but this place is pretty solid.

All in all, probably one of my favorite dine in places in Flint. Appetizers range almost just as high as an entrée dish, which usually, you would think it’s slightly cheaper.

I would have to say that the only downside is that this place is a little on the pricier side, though you do get a lot for one order. Waiters are super friendly and always make good suggestions. I did get a chance to try their goat curry too, and, it really had a taste to it that I thoroughly enjoyed, so I would say that would probably be my favorite from their buffet hours. They offer two different rice dishes in the buffet. The buffet definitely gives you a chance to try a variety of different dishes off their menu, and their mushroom masala is actually really good (if you like mushrooms). The classic chicken tikka masala is delicious and I just absolutely love it with the rice and naan. A new favorite is also the chicken cyclone, though it’s more on the spicy side. We love their chicken biryani (the lamb one is also really good). My friend and I would always start out with the chilly paneer as an appetizer and then choose two dishes to share. During lunch buffet hours, I would suggest asking the waiters for a fresh batch of naan. I have been here for their lunch buffet several times and regular dine in dinner countless times. I have been here several times and not a single thing I have ordered is anywhere near bad. I refuse to step foot in the establishment anymore. What is not good at Grill of India? Practically nothing. And when the owner makes a mistake, even a small one, she blames the person closest to her. The owner ridicules her staff in front of customers to where the customers are embarrassed. And then the customer never shows up for their order because of her. She said the take out is losing money because she is very rude to the customer on the phone then hangs up on them. My daughter works there so I'm not spreading rumors. BUT is good food worth the rudeness of the owner/manager? They are losing customers because of her. This is not a coney Island so make sure to have enough money. The entertainment is on point for a chef. I've had steak and chicken on different occasions and every time was the same as the 1st: great! The food is very flavorful and filling. The Hibachi side is amazing! The food is great. Sagano's has a Hibachi side and a regular restaurant side.
